Mike and Jen | Anniversary Session

Ohhh I can’t even count the reasons that I love anniversary sessions…As a wedding photographer, it’s pretty safe to say that I am a big fan of marriage…but for reasons much greater than just because I love my job and thrive on getting to be a part of the joy of a wedding day….what’s even more sweet to celebrate than day one? The days that come after the wedding…Marriage is an incredible gift, but one that takes hard work and dedication…and I believe it’s something to be celebrated as often as possible!

Jen and Mike got married almost one year ago and to celebrate they decided to schedule an anniversary shoot! Jen loved her wedding pictures, but wanted portraits that would show off more of their relationship in a less editorial way…I really strive to share the authentic love that couples share and I think you are going to love what we came up with…We spent an evening in Georgetown and started out at one of my favorite little cafe’s…as the session progressed, I was really able to get a sense of who they are as a couple and I just love these two…They are so sweet and their love is so genuine…They are a GORGEOUS couple and made my job so easy!! And wait until you see the soft, romantic lighting by the water! Ahhh, we could not have picked a more prefect fall evening to shoot…Jen and Mike, thank you again for choosing me to capture your newlywed love! Happy Anniversary you two, and here’s to many, many more to come!!
