Andy and Lauren

You may remember Andy and Lauren from their beautiful Duke University engagement session last spring…I’d been looking forward to their wedding day ever since! Not just because they are an absolutely gorgeous couple and I knew their wedding was going to be beautiful to photograph, but because they are a military couple so they had to spend much of their engagement apart! I was so excited for them when the big day finally came…

It could not have been more perfect. All of Andy and Lauren’s closest family and friends traveled to spend the day celebrating their new marriage and it was such a joy to get to be a part of it all. They held their ceremony in a gorgeous little courtyard outside of the historic Hotel Roanoke. It felt intimate but grand all at the same time…and I loved all of the personal touches that they had in their ceremony! It was so beautiful! Andy and Lauren are such a special couple and I am so excited for what’s in store for them and their marriage in the years to come! I love when a wedding really emphasizes the fact that the best is truly yet to be…this is just the beginning of their life long adventure together and I can’t wait to see the impact that they will have as a married couple!

Congratulations again, Andy and Lauren! I hope you enjoy my favorites from your day!
