Virginia Wedding Photographer | Stephen and Hannah

We pulled up to Antrim 1844 and immediately knew it was going to be a beautiful day…the grounds are absolutely stunning and it looked like the rain was going to hold off for them to have their ceremony under the big, old tree in the garden! I said a quick prayer that the rain would continue to hold and then headed up to meet Hannah…

Nerves and excitement were building as she slipped into her Hayley Paige gown surrounded by her closest girlfriends…she looked absolutely gorgeous…I couldn’t wait for Stephen to see his bride!

Hannah and Stephen’s wedding day was one of those that made me so excited for them and their new union while simultaneously making me sad that my job with them is coming to an end…they are such a beautiful couple, but more than that they are kind and caring, gentle and gracious, and so much fun to be around! It is so evident that their relationship is centered on the Lord and that they seek to honor Him with their lives…their wedding was so focused on God and the amazing work that He is doing through them! It was such an honor to get to witness their ceremony and to be a part of it all! And there was so much of the Lords perfect timing involved! Hannah had broken her leg earlier this year and she just started to be able to walk without crutches a few weeks ago…what a blessing to get to walk down the aisle…and the rain ended up holding off until the very last family portrait after the ceremony! Such a beautiful reminder of the Lord’s perfect timing. I am in awe of His grace.

When I think of Stephen and Hannah, I think of Philippians 4…”Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near”. I love the tenderness that shines through their relationship and I am so excited to see how God is going to use their marriage to bring glory to His name!

Stephen and Hannah, thank you so much for having me be a part of such a special and sweet day! Congratulations again! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites…

Anna!!! I am simply bursting with joy! You could not have captured these two more beautifully! I am seriously in awe of these pictures. Every portrait I was thinking, “ok, that’s definitely going on a canvas… no wait – but this one!” There are just way too many beautiful moments to even begin choosing. You did an absolutely incredible job!!
