Chris and Stefani

Several months ago, Stefani emailed me to ask if I would take her and Chris’ anniversary photos…They are actually from Michigan, but she was attending the Creative at Heart Conference (one of my all time favorites!!) in North Carolina and would drive up to Richmond after…of course I was so honored and said yes right away! Capturing a couples love is truly one of my favorite parts of my job!

Over the course of a few months we emailed back and forth to decide on a location and for Stef to show me the beautiful dress she found…and from those emails I already knew that Stefani was the sweetest! Her joy is contagious and she is just so full of love…and it was so sweet to finally get to see her and Chris together! It’s easy to see that he adores her and as I was editing these I couldn’t stop noticing how their love really shines in the images…

Chris and Stefani woke up bright and early about a week ago to meet me for their sunrise session and even early in the morning she was so joyful! We walked around Pony Pasture here in Richmond to take photos by the river and I loved hearing about Stefani’s love for her work (She’s a talented graphic designer!) and how these two met back when they were just teenagers…They’ve grown so much together since then and it was a blessing to get to capture their love! Enjoy a few of my favorites!!

I’ll never get sick of looking at our photos you took Anna. You were sweet and patient with us first-timers and we feel so honored to have you be a part of our journey. It only took us 11 years to get photos done and hopefully many more will follow. :) Thank you again for everything! <3
