This gorgeous springtime weather we’ve been experiencing in Virginia is reminding me that often change is a really good thing…Sometimes I’m resistant to change because I get comfortable in a certain season or doing something a certain way…part of me loves winter and I’m already missing the fact that I can’t wear my favorite scarves anymore without sweating…but the weather for this weekends wedding was positively AMAZING. Until last week I forgot what it was like to do a shoot without having frozen fingers at the end of it. I’m so excited for all of the goodness that will be making it’s

I never really considered myself a southern girl before, but ohhhh last week I fell head over heels in love with the state of Georgia…Apparently I need to go back and experience the summer humidity before I can REALLY say this, but it’s an incredibly beautiful place! I love the spanish inspired architecture, mossy oak trees, and sweet southern charm + hospitality that’s so unique to the area…we are already hoping to go back to the Golden Isles for our anniversary this year! I have lots of behind the scenes work waiting for me, but I also have a lot of beautiful pictures to work on and share this week so that makes it easier to get back into my routine :) Ryan’s family has rented a beach

It’s raining here today…which is kind of sad because Ryan, Lexie and I are heading to the beach this week! And I am in desperate need of a tan and some relaxation on the beach…Can you believe that today marks the first day of JULY?!? A month ago I was looking at my calendar and it felt like there was so much going on in June that July would never come…it kind of felt like the way it used to feel at the end of a semester in college..when you were so close to being done, but you still had exams and a few projects and papers that stood in your way before your break could start. I’m kind of a nerd and I secretly liked
