There are so many images that I wanted to share from this wedding that I decided to do a Part 1 post and a Part 2 post! Beth and Mark got married in Northern Virginia and although I was nervous about the impending storm…their wedding was the day that hurricane Sandy hit…I was mostly just so thankful that I got to be a part of it!! I loved that the focus of the whole day was so Christ-centered and I loved how the two of them were just so excited to be married that the storm didn’t phase them at all! I arrived at the church and expected Beth to be a little stressed or worried…but her attitude towards the day and the storm was just incredible…

And it turned out that the rain held off all the way until we got to the reception!! I really think it was a miracle and you can bet I was praying really hard for it to stay away!! We were able to take so many portraits and the overcast lighting was so pretty…It was just perfect and I was so excited for Beth.

I think I also loved this wedding so much because I always love when I feel like I could be best friends with the bride and her friends…I was just so thankful for how welcoming everyone was and for how sweet and fun Beth’s friends and family are! Just wait until you see the party pictures in Part 2…But for now I hope you enjoy my pre-ceremony and ceremony favorites from the day!
