As the ceremony ended and the guests poured out of the church, I was literally running outside with Beth and Mark to grab some portraits of them as quickly as possible…I was so nervous that the skies were going to open up and that Sandy was going to make it impossible to get very many bride and groom portraits…I treasure the portraits that I have of Ryan and I from our wedding day, so when the rain held off for almost all of the time we had allotted for Mark and Beth’s portraits I was so happy for them (although they were so excited just to be officially MARRIED and I don’t think any amount of rain could have ruined their day!!)…We took a couple at the church really quickly just to be safe in case it did start raining…and then headed to their friends house for the rest of their pictures with the wedding party! I really love how unique their pictures are…The light was so soft and pretty and I LOVED the purple umbrellas!!
After portrait time it was time for the party to start!! Beth and Mark’s reception was just so full of joy…I loved getting to watch all of their family and friends rejoice with them and celebrate the awesome promise that they made to each other that day. Beth and Mark, I’m still so excited for you both and hope you are enjoying married life!
Thanks again to my good friend Katie for second shooting with me and for braving the storm to be there with me! Enjoy part 2 of their big day!
Love these! So much joy:)
Then we headed to their family friends home…and I was so excited about this cute little cottage!
precious…
FAVORITE!
Then we had time for even more portraits! It was raining just a little bit at this point but I love how these turned out…
Another favorite..
Beth, you are so beautiful…
Reception time!!
Making their grand entrance! Thanks Katie for the awesome shot on the left!
I loved the toasts..so sweet.
Cake time!
Beth and Mark’s first dance was beautiful…
Father/daughter dance…
Mother/son dance…
Followed by a whole lot of dancing…
I loved all of the fun hats and masks that they had at their reception!
The flower girl dancing…too cute!
Then all these guys started dancing around Beth and Mark and it was really funny…
Bouquet toss!
The garter toss…
And then they made their big exit in the rain!
Congratulations again you two!!! Thanks again for letting me be a part of your wedding day! And just in case you missed Part 1, you can see it here!
