February Goals!

Today is day 4 of my juice fast…It turned into less of an actual FAST on day 1 when I felt like I was going to pass out if I didn’t consume some calories…It turns out if you want to do a true juice fast you have to take it really easy and you’re not supposed to exercise…oops…I didn’t want to give up running, so instead I’m just juicing three times a day and eating one healthy meal and one snack…and I’m feeling really good! I think doing the whole juicing thing this way has been much more realistic and I can actually see us incorporating juicing into our lifestyle full time.

Sooo anyway…looking back at the last Goals post I wrote is kind of intimidating because it was my YEAR of 2013 business goals…so a lot of them havnt been accomplished..but I’m so excited about the ones that I have made progress on!

  • I implemented ShootQ, my new business and client management software, into my workflow and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! Seriously, someone cue the hallelujah chorus because this program is AMAZING. I’m still working on inputting all of my previously  booked weddings, but this program is making my life so much easier.
  • I met and exceeded my booking goal of 22 weddings! Woohoo! This one is so exciting and I feel so humbled and honored that these couples chose me to capture one of the biggest days of their lives!
  • I painted my office Vintage Gray and I got a new DESK! with a FILE CABINET…I’m still working on getting it organized though…
  • Also I feel like I’m being a better blogger! I’m trying to blog four-ish times a week…hopefully I can keep this up!

And as for February Goals, here’s what I’m working towards:

  • Get all of my business finance information organized to meet with a CPA about my taxes (yuck).
  • Create a big picture workflow for my business and have workflow charts made by my designer…
  • Finish entering all of my wedding clients into ShootQ
  • Hold myself to a standard of GRACE…this month I’m making it a goal to be less of a perfectionist and I’m going to vow to spend less time on the things that dont need to be done PERFECTLY so that I can be more productive overall!
  • Cook healthy meals for Ryan and I twice a week (and make enough to have leftovers!)…This one is not business related obviously and it might sound silly…but my husband is such a good cook that it’s hard for me to want to try to make anything because it never compares to the meals he makes! Usually I am the dishwasher/kitchen cleaner and he is the cook because he can make a gourmet meal out of whatever food we have in the fridge, whereas I have to follow a strict recipe if I want it to taste good…But I really want to serve and love him better by trying my very best to cook for him more!

Aaand here is a little peek at the pictures my amazing friend Ali took of me with my new Kelly Moore Posey 2 bag for a review I’m doing on it coming soon!
