A couple of weeks ago I got to visit my sister, Angelika, at college…she goes to JMU and lives in a house with something like 10 other girls..or maybe 12? Either way, it’s A LOT of girls…and she’s loving it…the last time I had visited her was when she was a freshman and still living in the dorms! It’s so crazy how fast time goes by!! My sister is one of my best friends and it has been such a cool thing watching her grow up into the amazing woman that she is today..I’m so proud of her and the direction she’s heading in with her life! It’s so funny to look back on our lives growing up together…we shared a room and for the longest time I would make us reorganize it once a week for fun…we also rearranged our furniture once every few months…remember when that was a fun thing to do?
Well anyway…now she’s a sophomore in college and she leads a small group through InterVarsity, which is one of the on campus Christian ministries at JMU…I was part of a small group through CRU at Virginia Tech and also lead a small group during my time there…It’s such a great way to get involved and to get to know other women who are there for you and who want to support you, encourage you, and help you grow in relationship with Christ! These girls are there for each other and you can tell that they are a close knit group even though they’ve only been together for less than a year! We thought it would be really fun to take some pictures of them as a group to help document this time in their lives (it goes by too fast!!!). All of these girls are so gorgeous inside and out and made me feel so welcome!..I had the best time walking around downtown Harrisonburg with them and getting to know them a little bit! Enjoy my favorites!!
I love these shirts that they had made for their group!
Pretty girls! This was right before a random guy walking by asked if I would take a picture of him with them on his iPhone…
My sister is so pretty!!
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Love this…
We had to take some silly ones…
I just loved the one on the left, and the one on the right is my sister with her co-leader!!
And then I had to get a picture with her too of course…Love you Angelika!!
Happy Thursday!!

What beautiful girls! And so sweet of you, Annamarie, to help them build memories by documenting this time in their lives :) I miss those days!

I thought my sister and I were the only ones who would rearrange our room frequently for fun! These are so fun, it’s awesome to be able to watch your little sister grow into a beautiful women, and even more awesome to have a chance to capture it! :)
