Josh and Rachel are one of those couples that everyone loves…they have a certain way about them that makes them so fun to be around because they are not afraid to have fun and never seem to take themselves too seriously….and I knew shooting their wedding was going to be a lot of fun! Especially because on top of having the best, easy going personalities, they are also an absolutely gorgeous couple! A few things small things didn’t go as planned on their wedding day (which happens on MOST weddings days I would argue…), but you would never know it because Rachel was just so thrilled to be marrying Josh!

They chose to get married at The Mill at Fine Creek which fit the look they were going for perfectly…Rachel wanted it to feel classic and elegant, but relaxed and it worked out so well! I especially love when couples choose to get married outside or in unconventional locations…I had photographed two weddings at the Mill previously, but had never photographed a wedding on the cobblestone right in front of the building…it was GORGEOUS! The sun was going down and the lighting was breathtaking as Rachel and Josh made their vows to love and cherish each other forever.

After the ceremony we hurried to fit in all of their portraits before it got dark and we made it down to the creek just as the sun was sinking beneath the trees…The lighting was soft and romantic and I can’t wait for you to see the portraits of them!
