My family has always celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve because that’s what my dad did growing up in Germany…so we are at my parents house today and it is packed with family and I love it! When I was little I was always just excited that I got to open my presents a day earlier…well it feels like Christmas came early for me this year because yesterday I finally had my copy of this winters issue of the Washingtonian Bride and Groom magazine in my hands!

This year I focused on striving to continually improve my craft so that I can offer my clients the best pictures possible to remember their wedding day by and pass down to future generations in their families, and I hadn’t yet made any goals about having my work published…so I feel so thankful for all of my clients who chose me to capture their wedding days this year and this just feels like the icing on the cake of a really fun year! There is something so exciting about holding a magazine that you can buy at Target and seeing photographs you took in it! I know these feature posts are kind of boring to read, but since this is my first print feature  I just wanted to give a shout out and thank you to the publishers at one of my favorite wedding publications in the Virginia/DC/MD area for printing Teddy and Emma’s wedding as part of their real weddings section in their winter issue! I feel so honored and I’m so excited because I think this magazine embodies the style that I hope for my business to head in and am so thankful for the opportunity to share all of the hard work and love that Emma and Teddy and their families put into their wedding day again!

Congratulations and thank you, Teddy and Emma, for allowing me to be a part of your special day! It was such an honor!
