Every time I shoot at Raspberry Plain I feel like I am living in a Jane Austen novel…even in early March before the sunken garden has had a chance to bloom, there’s something so romantic about this place and it was the perfect setting for Mike and Kristin’s military wedding.Â
Sometimes I think the best romances are the ones that develop slowly…the kind that are built on solid friendship and grow into something more over time…I love when that happens because it creates such a solid foundation. Kristin and Mike are so genuine and caring and I loved watching them interact with their guests and each other as they danced the night away!
Kristin, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this special day in your lives and for being so genuine and welcoming…It was easy to see why you are so wonderful after getting to spend the day with your families! One of my favorite moments of the day was getting to see Kristin’s dad’s eyes light up the first time he saw her all dressed up in white and ready to walk down the aisle. The love and joy in his eyes was indescribable! I loved so many moments throughout their day and can’t wait for you to look through them! I hope you enjoy my favorites from the day! You can see more from this day here, at The Black Tie Bride.
*Huge thanks to Brittany Claud for being my amazing second shooter!
