James and Sarah first met their freshmen year of college…and although they didn’t start dating until years later, Sarah remembers telling her roommate that year that she would marry James Butler one day. It wasn’t really based on more than a feeling, but as fate would have it here they are almost four years into their marriage and it was crystal clear to me from spending the morning with them that they were meant for each other! I loved getting to help them celebrate their anniversary and love for each other through this session!
When I was in St. Simon Island, Georgia, I couldn’t help but fall head over heels in love with the lowcountry. Ryan’s grandparents own a condo there, so you can bet we will be back every chance we get! I’m hoping to get to work more there, because I really think it’s one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever been. I was so overwhelmed by the beauty of the mossy oak trees and I just knew I had to shoot a session down there. I’m so thankful for my sweet friend Anna, who connected me with this wonderful couple! Sarah and James have an anniversary session done every year so it could not have been more perfect! Congratulations on four years you two!!
Enjoy my favorites from our time together! And happy weekend, sweet blog readers!!

Oh my goodness, I love this session. The massive driftwood (or tree??) on the beach, the palms and the spanish moss is all swoon-worthy! Beautiful job Anna!
