To say I adore this couple would be an understatement. Ryan and I headed up to their family’s home in Maryland where they got married last year for this cozy anniversary session with their pups and everything about it was perfect! Natalie and I first met last year, but she’s one of those people that I felt an instant connection with. She’s warm and beautiful and one of the most fun, intelligent, and encouraging people I know! I knew we’d be good friends from the very first conversation we had. And I was so excited to finally get to meet Huey! I knew he had to be an amazing guy to win Natalie’s heart and we loved him right away too! They are perfect together. It was so much fun exploring his parents property with them and watching them interact…and I loved getting to hear them reminisce about their wedding day…

They got married last year, but their love has been growing for years and years…they have a comfort and a closeness in their relationship that comes from walking through many different seasons of life together and it was such a joy to capture them in this one! When Nat and I were planning for her session, she kept mentioning the word cozy…so we aimed to capture a cozy fall shoot complete with their puppies and cuddling on the back porch!
