Last weekend, Ryan and I made our way up to snowy upstate New York for Katie and Billy’s engagement session on the beautiful campus of Cornell University. I had been looking forward to photographing these two for so long and it’s definitely a new favorite! Billy went to school at Cornell and Katie spent many weekends there visiting him, so it was the perfect place to capture their relationship!
I bundled up in my warmest clothes and we made our way through the snow for their session. Despite freezing temperatures, these two made it such a fun experience! They are so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home even though I’d never seen so much snow before! They took us to the prettiest spots on campus and introduced us to their favorite brunch place called The Carriage House…an adorable cafe in a restored historical carriage house. I already can’t wait to go back to New York for their wedding this fall at the beautiful winery where Katie works! After years of dating long distance they finally get to live close to each other and I’m so excited for them to get married!
It’s always the best feeling when clients become friends…Katie and Billy, thank you so much for braving the cold and making this a weekend we will always remember! I hope you enjoy my favorites and I can’t wait to see you again!
