Morgan and Lauren celebrated two years of marriage this past May and I was so honored when she emailed me to ask if I would take their anniversary photos this year! It was months ago when we first started forming a plan for the shoot, and I couldn’t believe when it was finally here! We met in Great Falls, Maryland for their session and had so much fun exploring the park…Morgan and Lauren love spending time outside together so this was perfect! 

I can’t exactly pinpoint when I first met Lauren, but she is one of those friends that I feel like I have known forever even though I don’t get to see her that often. She is a one of a kind friend that everyone hopes to have…she is truly one of the most encouraging, thoughtful, joy-filled people I know and is always putting others before herself! I’ve learned so much from her…She is so full of wisdom beyond her years and she makes you feel capable of accomplishing even your biggest dreams! And that’s what I love most about her. She makes people feel worthy and so loved and cared for. It’s no wonder why Morgan fell in love with her sweet spirit in the first place! These two are so much fun and I love how they seem even more themselves when they’re together. That’s one of the really beautiful things about marriage. It’s designed to be a fortress and a place where you can learn to let down all of your guards and still feel safe. I loved capturing this sweet season in Lauren and Morgan’s marriage and I’m so excited to share my favorites with you today!
