It was a gorgeous Fall afternoon…unusually warm for early November in Virginia…and perfect for an engagement session at Cumberland Plantation! I usually book most couples that I work with around a year out from their wedding date, but Kaleigh is one of my brides that I started talking to earlier this year for their October wedding next year…so I feel like I have been looking forward to their engagement shoot for such a long time! And it definitely did not disappoint! We met at their wedding venue this past weekend and everything about it is a dream. It’s a gorgeous, historic manor house that sits up on a hill surrounded by old trees with stunning views of a lake…

And Kaleigh and Daniel made my job so easy! These two are adorable and I loved getting to know them better and hear more about their wedding plans. Kaleigh is so sweet and genuine and I loved watching her and Daniel interact. I always feel like I get to learn so much about a couple through their engagement session!
