Oh my goodness! To say that I’ve been excited for Josh and Erika’s engagement session for what feels like forever would be an understatement…I loved them from the very first time I met them and it’s been such a blessing to get to be a part of this season in their lives! I wish I had the words to tell you how perfect these two are together and how excited I am for them to become husband and wife… 

One of my absolute favorite parts of my job is getting to know couples throughout the wedding planning process…I love getting to follow along on social media as they plan and it’s especially fun when couples share some of their big exciting moments with me!! I’m always so excited when I get emails with subjects like “I FOUND MY DRESS!” and “You’re going to die when you see this flower wall we’re planning for the wedding!” It is always my goal to help and encourage the couples I get to work with along the way and these two make it so easy. But one thing that makes it even sweeter is how inspired I am by the couples I work with! I love how Josh and Erika make every day of their lives together an adventure. Their joy in getting to live life together really shines through…they are some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet, but are also so silly and down to earth and I love that they don’t take life too seriously. The day of their engagement session was ALSO the day they were moving to a new house and they didn’t seem stressed at all! They just go with the flow and try to enjoy every moment and I think we can all learn from that!

This session was also special because Erika and Josh are both in the wedding industry themselves which is so fun because the wedding industry community feels like a family in a lot of ways! Erika is super talented photographer and Josh is an incredible film maker. So you can bet that every part of their engagement session was planned out perfectly! From the outfits to the perfect little floral leaf collar and leash by Courtney Inghram Floral Design…I literally COULDN’T STOP taking photos of these two and their pup! They also let me help choose the locations so I was in heaven shooting in these places! On top of that we also had their incredible planner, Caroline of Posh PR, along to help style and she always knocks it out of the park! In the middle of their session I already knew that I was going to have the most impossible time trying to narrow these down!! 

Josh and Erika, thank you so much for making this such a fun evening to remember! I love you two so much and now I’m even more excited for your wedding (which I didn’t think was possible!!). I loved getting to capture you in this season! This post is going down in the books as an all time favorite…
