The Branch House on Monument Avenue here in Richmond is one of my absolute favorite places to shoot…Why? Because it’s the venue where Ryan and I had our wedding reception! When I found it online, it was love at first sight…I adore the european style of architecture and the old world beauty it reminds me of…And it’s right in the middle of one of the most beautiful and historical streets in Richmond!
So when Laura and Michael told me I could choose a spot for their anniversary shoot, it was the first place I thought of! I love that I was able to spend some time with these two for their session…They are so down to earth and fun to be around…They are photographers together too so they really understand and value having pictures taken of the two of them. This year marks their first anniversary and I’m so excited for them! They have big things ahead, which might include being missionaries abroad and I’m so excited to see how the Lord uses them to help others!
Laura and Michael, thanks so much again for making the drive up to Richmond to take these! I hope you enjoy my favorites!

LOVE! my favorite is either the horizontal one where she’s in the red dress and they’re dancing in the street, or the vertical black and white towards the end where she’s smiling down and has her hand on the back of his neck. :) BEAUTIFUL, romantic, authentic images!!
