This might be my cutest blog post ever…it’s hard to go wrong with Christmas decor and a cute toddler who has amazing (and very stylish) parents!
There’s the old adage that goes something like this: You become a combination of the 5 people you spend the most time with…and I have actually had the thought when spending time with Jen before, “If that saying is true, there needs to be five Jen’s so I could spend more time with her and become more like her!!” She is such a special, life giving person. She is as witty as she is caring and as kind as she is beautiful. She has the gift of hospitality and knows how to create a warm place for people to feel welcome. She and Aaron really are incredible parents and we’ve learned so much from them about how we want to balance business ownership and parenthood one day.
When I think back on life before becoming a part of the creative industry and community, I never could have guessed what an incredible blessing the friendships I would make through it would become. Jen is one of those people. She has not only poured so much of her heart into my photography website (she designed this beauty of a blog that you’re looking at right now!) and into continuing to help us build the Creative Catalog, but into me and into me and our friendship and I could not have more respect or admiration for her as a designer or person!
So I was so excited to get to take her family portraits this year!! And I am possibly even more excited to share them today…Family photos are not my usual thing, but these guys made my job so easy (and the secret ingredient to success…chocolate chips…Serena didn’t need a lot of help with looking cute, but she did get a chocolate chip for some of these smiles! Such a good idea!). Hoping these photos warm your heart today like they did mine!!
