Bekah and Brian | Engaged!

Bekah and her family moved to Virginia from Tennessee when she was in high school…and of all the schools in Virginia that they could have picked for her and her brother to go to, they chose the little teeny private high school that I went to also…It’s the kind of school where you know basically EVERYTHING about everyone..which in some ways is bad and in some ways can be good…good because in a lot of ways our school felt like a little family.

I loved Bekah right away..she’s so sweet, but opinionated and funny..and has the cutest accent!! We were friends throughout the rest of my time in high school and then when she decided to come to Virginia Tech too I was so excited! During college we met for weekly coffee dates and it was so fun getting to know her even better there…When she met Brian and started dating him, I just remember thinking that I bet this was going to be the guy that she ends up marrying!…aaand I was right and I could not be more excited that their wedding is happening so SOON!!!

Brian is quiet and sweet and his personality fits perfectly with Bekah’s…I love engagement sessions because I love getting to know how brides and grooms interact with each other and what poses work well for them..it makes the wedding day flow easier because then the couple is already used to me showing them how to pose and everyone feels more comfortable! Bekah and Brian, I hope you enjoyed your engagement session..I had so much fun hanging out with you two!!

We spent the afternoon walking around the beautiful Hermitage Museum and Gardens in Norfolk…this place is amazing and is right in the neighborhood where Bekah’s family lives!

I absolutely love all the colors in these..it feels so Christmas-y with the green and red!

You two are too cute!

LOVE this…

Love this…you can tell that Brian makes Bekah so happy!!

Pretty!

a favorite…

I loved this place! It was actually one of the venues I looked into for Ryan and I’s wedding..we might have picked it if we hadn’t decided to get married in Richmond instead of where we grew up…

cute!

ahhhh look how pretty this place is!!

Bekah, you are too CUTE.

These ones are my absolute favorites..I love all of the ivy!

Congratulations again you two!! I can’t wait for your wedding!
