Oh I’ve been so excited to share this one! Matt and Charlene planned out their engagement session perfectly and it was such a joy to get to capture them in some of the places they love most…Matt proposed to Charlene at their favorite restaurant in DC, Béarnaise. It’s the cutest little French restaurant! He knows the owner so we worked to recreate the setting and it was perfect! They didn’t have any photos from their proposal so it was especially sweet to capture these in the very spot where he popped the question. They also planned to bring a lock to put on the gate outside of the restaurant with a faux

When Michael contacted me about surprising his wife with a trip to New York City and a photo shoot for their ten year anniversary, I was so excited! We spent the next few months planning where to shoot and how we would make it memorable and a representation of their time in NYC and finally decided on the iconic Brooklyn Bridge…we met there just after sunrise on a cloudy morning and the light was so soft and pretty! We walked all the way across the bridge to the Brooklyn side and then hopped in a taxi and headed to the Greenwich Village area…I had never been, but fell in love with the

Rob and Erin met and fell in love while they were at University where they just happened to be a part of the same study group. They had an instant connection and their romance grew from there…She says they knew pretty early on that they wanted to be together forever so it was so exciting to celebrate their marriage six years later in Richmond at the beautiful Country Club of Virginia!
It was such a beautiful Fall day and I was so thrilled to get to be a part of this celebration! Sending a huge thank you to Windy of LK Events for coordinating the whole day so perfectly! Erin and Rob

This is different from my usual shoots, but I love this little family so much and I was so honored when Lauryn asked me to take their family photos! They welcomed their son, Mac, this year and he is such a little cutie. We had so much fun walking around the Capital building here in Richmond and they made my job so easy…I got to know Lauryn several years ago when Ryan and I moved to Richmond and it is so much fun getting to see her and Jared as parents! They are so fun, stylish, and loving…Mac is so lucky to have them! Thank you so much again Lauryn and Jared! I hope you enjoy
