I am finally back in the U.S. after being gone for close to a month, and if I’m being honest I wasn’t ready to come home yet! These two are the kind of couple that you can have fun with no matter what you’re doing…they have the ability to make you feel so welcomed and loved and that is one of my favorite things about them! I can hardly believe that I’m typing this from my aunt’s garden in Langenzenn, Germany…It feels unreal! I’ve been waiting for this trip to get here for what seems like so long, and I’m so thrilled to be here with my sister and German relatives. It’s been almost exactly two years since I was last here, and although I’m feeling extremely fortunate to be on the other side of the Atlantic for a few days shy of a month (and to be here for work no less!), the time never seems quite long enough. I think that the love of a mother is one of the most beautiful and fascinating and pure types of love. It’s incredible to watch a mother grow more in love with her precious little one as her belly grows and the date of her baby’s arrival gets closer and closer! Although this is a step away from the normal shoots I do, it’s so amazing to watch my friends become mothers and these photos of this growing little family are easily some of my new favorites…I love photographing love and it is so easy to capture between a couple as they are awaiting the arrival of a new baby! It was such an incredible honor for me
