It has been a whirlwind of a summer over here in the AAP office…can you believe we’re already creeping up on late July?! My summer has been filled with Weddings, Anniversary Celebration Sessions, planning a few special projects that I can’t wait to share more about (!!), spending time with family and friends, and organizing the details for our European adventure! I’ve been excited about that last thing ever since Rachel and James booked me last year to photograph their wedding in the UK and I can’t believe it’s finally so close! It’s about to get real guys. I need to start packing soon!

There were so many elements of Shelby and Derek’s wedding day that came together to make it so beautifully sentimental and perfectly them. From her handmade custom wedding gown, to the handkerchief that she gifted her mom with the heartwarming words “I love you more” embroidered on it, to the beautiful brooch she wore pinned to her sash…their day was full of love and personal touches. They chose to hold their wedding celebration under a white tent in her parents front yard which created a relaxed and romantic vibe. Laughter and and music played by a live band carried

I feel like I was just walking down the aisle to the man of my dreams yesterday…and then I blinked and now here we are and it’s already been 3 years! Someone tell me how to make time slow down! I love living life with this guy and am so thankful to have such a caring, hard-working, loving, patient husband who knows me inside out…including all of my many flaws…and still thinks I’m the biggest blessing in his life.

She stepped into her lace wedding gown and as her mom zipped it up and she turned to face her girls, the room fell silent…Emily made the most beautiful bride! Happy tears were flowing and the excitement grew as her dad walked into the room to see her for the first time as a bride. He was speechless as she hugged him tight and then handed him a embroidered handkerchief for him to dry his eyes…then it was time to go see her groom! She walked down the staircase in her wedding gown at the beautiful historic Church Point Manor to meet Jim on the front lawn for their first look…she saw him out
