The Branch House on Monument Avenue here in Richmond is one of my absolute favorite places to shoot…Why? Because it’s the venue where Ryan and I had our wedding reception! When I found it online, it was love at first sight…I adore the european style of architecture and the old world beauty it reminds me of…And it’s right in the middle of one of the most beautiful and historical streets in Richmond!

They are tying the knot at The Boathouse at Rockett’s landing so choosing to shoot in Libby Hill Park was the best idea because we got to take an engagement picture with their

It was a couple of months ago now that Ali and I were talking about her then upcoming anniversary trip with Chad when she mentioned that she was looking for a photographer in New York City to take some portraits for them while they were there…I made an offhand comment stating that she should hire me instead, but not really thinking it would work out…everything fell into place perfectly though, and soon Ryan and I were en route to NYC to meet Ali and Chad for what would be one of my favorite sessions that I have ever photographed!

We started off with a vision and it
