I first met Clare and Chris (and their adorable puppy, Woodrow!) at Chris’ home in Arlington for their engagement session several months ago…and after seeing how absolutely beautiful Clare is, I was already excited to get to photograph her as a bride! And she didn’t disappoint…Clare looked STUNNING on her wedding day and I couldn’t help but think that Chris must feel like the luckiest guy in the world to be marrying her. Not only does Clare look like a model, but she also has a huge heart. Clare and Chris made time to have a mini reception at the church for the special needs kids that she works

I’ve always thought one of the best things about getting to be a part of the photography industry is the people I’ve been able to meet because of it…I have way more friends from way more places than I ever would’ve had otherwise…I am a big people person so I get my energy from spending time with people…Since as a photographer I spend at least 80% of my job in front of a computer doing the behind the scenes work (that is a made up statistic but it sounds about right!), it’s always a fun change to get to go to an event where you can network with other professionals and encourage one another.

Noor and Kayvon were married in a beautiful cultural ceremony that combined their persian and indian heritages together at Fox Chase Manor…It was definitely a departure from what I’m used to shooting, and it was so amazing to see the different cultures come together! I loved how colorful the decor was, how family oriented they are, and how beautiful their ceremony was…but most of all, I loved the dancing!! It was so fun watching the guests at their wedding have a wonderful time and you could just tell how happy they all were to be there celebrating Noor and Kayvon and their new marriage.

I drove up to Blacksburg for Holly and Morgan’s wedding (which is a gorgeous drive through the mountains!) and I couldnt help but feel a little nervous…for me it’s always a little nerve wracking shooting a wedding where you know a bunch of people at the wedding…but theyre also some of the most fun weddings!! Holly and Morgan went to Tech too and even though I hadnt really gotten to know Holly while we were in school, after taking her engagement pictures it felt like we had been friends for a long time…Holly has this beautiful, easy going personality that just makes her so
