I just got back after a week long vacation to the outer banks last week, and I have to say that as much as I loved the time we got to spend with family — relaxing on the beach, playing cards, and watching TV on the rainy days (we dont have cable at our house so I especially enjoyed getting to watch some HGTV!) — it feels kind of good to be home! Can you tell I’m trying to have a good attitude about this? It’s been a crazy week so far…I’m coming off of a week of vacation and not only do I have the post-vacation blues, but I’m also trying like crazy to get caught up with all of my work!

This morning Ryan and I tried something new…he didn’t have to be at work as early today, so we woke up and went to Einstein Bagel’s on a little breakfast date together…Last night we had purchased a new little journal to share (not too girly looking…it has this fun geometric print on it that’s kind of manly), and we decided we are going to use it as a place where
