My family has always celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve because that’s what my dad did growing up in Germany…so we are at my parents house today and it is packed with family and I love it! Every so often I don’t get to meet a couple until their actual wedding day for one reason or another…Sara and Vince live across the country in California so this was one of those times! When that happens, I’m not sure what to expect out of a couple, but let me tell you…Sara and Vince did not disappoint…They are some of the sweetest and most fun people I’ve ever met and their joy on their wedding day was truly contagious…I love couples who have fun together and these two are truly best friends and were laughing throughout their whole day. It was a day that had been a long time coming for Andrew and Jess….they had been dating since high school and it was such a joy to get to see them finally say their vows and promise to spend the rest of their lives together in the beautiful Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in downtown Richmond. All of their friends and family were there to witness the occasion and it was a celebration that I’m sure none of them will ever forget! They had a class together in college…that’s where they first met when they were assigned to write a detailed paper about each other’s life and family. They had to do lengthy interviews for the assignment and somewhere in the middle of learning about each other their romance began…I love when that happens!…when you’re just doing something ordinary like going to class and you’re not expecting anything special to happen but then you meet the love of your life. I love Amy and Michael’s story! And I’m so excited that they are now MARRIED! It was such a joy to get to capture them
