Ryan and Mandy

This will go down in history as one of my favorite Anniversary Celebration Sessions of all time for obvious reasons! You can’t beat Charleston when it comes to choosing the perfect location for portraits…Ryan and Mandy were vacationing there with her family and I was so excited and honored when she wanted me to travel down to capture this sweet time in their relationship! We made our way over to Battery Park in the gorgeous Historic District of Charleston early one (very hot and humid!) morning to start shooting and although it wasn’t the nicest weather for a shoot, Mandy and Ryan were absolutely amazing to photograph and we had so much fun exploring this gorgeous area together! From the views of the water, to the amazing homes, to the gorgeous trees…there’s amazing spots for portraits everywhere you look! I may have to order one of these on a big canvas for my office…

Mandy and Ryan are the sweetest couple and I loved getting to photograph their relationship! Mandy is an amazing teacher and has such a huge heart to serve others. She is creative and so full of joy and I’d be willing to bet that her students adore her! Her energy and silliness make her so much fun to be around and that coupled with her willingness to serve makes it easy to see why Ryan fell in love with her…he cares for her so well and I loved getting to photograph how he looks at her and how much fun they have…they fit perfectly together!

These are some of my all time favorite portraits and I am so excited to share them today…I hope you enjoy! I can’t get over how perfect the light was!
