I’ve been looking forward to this past weekend for what feels like forever!! On Friday I drove down to South Carolina for Olivia and Josh’s wedding just outside of Charleston at a gorgeous venue on the water called The Island House…it’s perfectly Southern and the views of the Stono River are breathtaking (especially at sunset). It’s such a sweet spot for a laid back celebration! The weather was a little cooler than expected for the South this time of year, but that didn’t keep the day from being incredibly beautiful! 

Olivia and her mom worked so hard and put so much love into making the day a really special one to remember and I’d definitely say it paid off…Olivia and her mom share such a special relationship and it was so beautiful to get to see them enjoy the day! Chauncey of Bouquets and Bowties helped the day run so smoothly and made their vision come to life. I loved all of the personal touches that made the day unique to them…Josh and Olivia met in Charleston so it was also just so special to have all of their friends and family join them to celebrate their new marriage in a place that means so much to them!

Olivia’s brother had the honor of marrying them in a beautiful ceremony in the backyard of the venue overlooking the water…I loved how his message encouraged married couples to always be studying one another…to continue learning more about your spouse so that you can find new ways to love and care for them! They said their vows and we’re pronounced husband and wife! Then it was time to celebrate!! Josh and Olivia are so much fun…Olivia is thoughtful, spunky and outgoing. She always keeps people laughing and wants to make sure everyone around her is having a great time! Josh is gentle and caring. I loved watching the way he took care of Olivia and helped make it such a special day for her! Together they are a perfect match! 

Congratulations again, Josh and Olivia!! It was such an honor to get to celebrate with you!! Enjoy a few of my favorites…
