John and Kaylee

Ohhh I think you’re going to LOVE this one…John and Kaylee got married this past Saturday at their family’s (and our good friends, Buddy and Jill!) venue, Big Spring Farm, in Lexington and everything about it was so beautiful!! It was such an honor to get to be a part of it and capture the day with another good friend, Katelyn! Between Jill, Katelyn, and I this was our FOURTH sibling wedding that we’ve shot together…talk about a dream team! I joked that I was going to have to enjoy every second because we’re running out of siblings to photograph together!! Ha! Jilly and Bud were both in the bridal party and it was so special to see how well they loved and cared for Kaylee and John throughout the day. I’ve never known a more welcoming and hospitable couple than Buddy and Jill, and Kaylee and John are just the same.

It was so evident throughout their wedding how much love that Kaylee and John have for their friends and family…not just by how focused on making sure everyone else was enjoying the day, but also by the words that were shared about them! You will never meet a sweeter couple. Buddy’s best man toast said it all: they are “sweetness personified”.

One of my favorite parts of the day was when her parents got up to share a message with them during their ceremony. Then they were asked to hold out their hands and accept this gift of marriage and love as one that is not meant to be kept for themselves, but rather a gift to be given away to everyone they come in contact with. They are already clearly such a gift to the people in their lives and it was a gift to me to get to celebrate with them!

I could also talk about how incredible the band was, how sweet their bridal party is, or how incredibly beautiful the sunset was…but I’ll just let you see in the photos…I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!! And John and Kaylee, thank you so much for having me be a part of your day! So much love to you two!!
