a peek at my packaging

I’m writing this post from my favorite little cafe in Richmond..we are FINALLY moved into the new house (but STILL not done painting..)..and won’t have internet there for a whole WEEK..definitely annoying, but not all bad..I could sit in a cafe all afternoon with a cup of coffee and internet access and be perfectly content..and at least here I don’t have to feel guilty for not taking breaks to unpack!

Today I wanted to share a peek at my current packaging for sending off pictures to clients! I’m sure I will continue to change it as I grow, but I really love it right now!…I LOVE receiving and giving a gift in a pretty package..I feel like it makes what’s inside even more special!..so I started brainstorming pretty packaging ideas a long time ago back when I was creating a brand board on pinterest and my brand started to come together…I knew I wanted to incorporate a doily somewhere since that’s what inspired my logo, and I knew it needed blue striped ribbon, some aspect of linen to match my blog background, something PEACH, and some lace! I also wanted it to have a very homemade feel…So I started collecting different elements and eventually was able to tie it all together to create a cohesive little gift that reflects my branding and the things I love so well!

When I got my little flash drive from Katelyn James with my wedding images on it..I KNEW right away that I had to have them for my future business…so I ordered these cute little things from Flashbay back in May and have been so happy with them!! I tie a little striped ribbon on it, put it in a mini linen drawstring bag, and pack it in a box with some lace!

Then I wrap it…(I found these little doilies on clearance at Jo-Ann’s!)..

…and put it in a bigger box with some navy fabric to mail it!

I also add an extra little surprise gift..

The MOMENT I got my logo back from my designer I went online and ordered a rubber stamp…I LOVE that thing and am still going through this phase where I like to stamp it on everything….

The finished product…I just have to write the address on it and take it to the post office!

Happy Monday!!
