I love when other bloggers do posts like this…mashups, wrapups, highs and lows, good things…they’re all along similar lines in my mind (you get brownie points if you can tell me who’s blogs some of those titles came from!)…bloggers post things they like, things about their week, things they’ve learned, etc…I think I like them because I like people so much…I wish I had more time to follow more blogs!
So if you’ve been following my blog, thank you!! I know that most people are so busy and there’s a million blogs out there to choose from, so I feel so blessed by those of you who’ve been reading it!
This week has been a whirlwind..actually it feels like this whole summer has been crazy!! Here is this weeks weekly wrap-up:
- Ryan and I got to spend all of last weekend in the Outerbanks with my in-laws…which explains the pictures…I love spending time with them and so even though it rained most of the weekend, we had a blast just hanging out and relaxing together! Explanation of the above pictures: That was Ryan’s reaction when I asked him to pose with Chloe…in the second picture he was trying to get Chloe to smile…He’s silly..I like him:)
- This week we didn’t make very much progress on the whole unpacking thing..but I did finally decide what color I want to paint our front door!
- We got to go bowling with some friends from our small group …I’m a terrible bowler..I like bowling much better when i get to use the bumper rails:)
- My little brother-in-law Kyle, and sister Angelika, head off to college this week for their freshman and sophomore years! I miss that feeling of excitement I used to get when I was about to head into a new school year…This week I’ve been reminiscing and thinking about how crazy fast time is going by!! It feels like just yesterday i was eighteen and heading off to Tech for my freshman year!
- I got to spend a day with my mom and sister, since she’s heading off to college again..We had so much fun doing what we do best together: thrifting and antiquing..and drinking coffee. I could sit at a coffee shop with my sister for three days straight just talking and laughing…
I love having a little brother!
And here’s a peek at the wedding I got to second shoot with the fabulous Lauryn Galloway! This wedding was so beautiful in every way and I always have such a blast shooting with Lauryn…I can’t wait to share the rest of the day from my perspective as the second shooter!
Happy Friday!! I’m off to Fredericksburg for a portrait session!
