another poll: too bright?

A couple weeks ago I asked you guys in this post to vote for the color that we should paint our front door…And the winner was aqua bay! So I painted it, and of course since I’m the queen of indecisiveness now I’m not so sure about it..that was a few weeks ago and we still havnt put the door knocker or mail door back on it because I’m not sold it’s the right color…What do you think? I wanted it to be fun but is it too bright and girly? (remember I live with a man…)..It’s grown on me a lot since we first painted it, but i’m considering painting it a more muted shade of the same color…

But I need opinions!! Some days I think it’s okay, and some days I really don’t like it..I keep thinking that if our house was all tan it would look really good and not so contrast-y..but next to the brick I can’t decide if it works or not..

I’d love it if you’d vote and let me know what you think!!

And just in case this post is boring and your sick of hearing about our front door..here’s a peek at a pretty wedding I second shot with my friend Ali!

I love the color! Maybe add some colorful pots or a chair beside the door and it will bring in more color so the door then wouldn’t be so ‘in your face…’ If that is what you are worried about! But I think it looks great!

The color is great , but if you could find a cute wrought iron table (or even something less expensive, but heavy enough not to get blown away)and paint it the same color as the door. Then surround it with a few colorful pots of flowers that can stand the Richmond heat & sun, remembering to water them EVERY day. Just a thought from someone old enough to be your grandmother! I am a friend of your friend Katelyn A.
