I spent most of last weekend in the 757 because I photographed a wedding there on Saturday…I got home about 15 minutes before I was supposed to meet Ellen at my house, and although I was tired, I was so excited to get to hang out with her and take her portraits in downtown Richmond! Ellen actually goes to the high school that I graduated from in Chesapeake, but she decided she wanted her Senior Portraits here in Richmond so that they would be different, which I thought was a great idea! My senior pictures were taken at the beach, and while of course there’s nothing wrong with that, probably HALF of my friends pictures were also taken at the beach. Sometimes it’s just fun to be different!
We headed downtown and started at Main Street Station and then worked our way over to the Church Hill area…Ellen is so cute and funny and I had so much fun getting to hang out with her and hear about her college plans and how her senior year is going…it made me think about how long ago my senior year of high school was now! Sometimes it feels like that was just last year…
After this I definitely love Senior Sessions! Ellen thank you for asking me to capture this time in your life…it’s going to go by fast!!
Love the left one! So cute!
Ellen’s dress is from Lilly…I thought it suited her personality perfectly and I’m so glad she chose it for her pictures!
A definite favorite!!
Whenever I asked her to do her best model face she would just start laughing really hard…it made for some cute pictures!!
SO pretty Ellen!!
We stopped by the farmers market for these shots on their stands…some of my favorites!!
Then as we were driving up to Church Hill we spotted this wall..I love the gray color with Ellen’s dress!
haha! She’s adorable.
LOVE this!
So cute…
Happy Thursday (Night)!!

These are gorgeous! I especially love the ones with the brick wall background. I like the effect of the shallow depth of field. Also, I like the picture where she is sitting cross-legged; I think she looks very comfortable and natural in that pose.
Your photos are wonderful as always :)
