The Palmer House Girls

One of my favorite parts about college was getting to live with a bunch of girls…My last year of school I was really blessed to live with five other girls in a townhouse that we lovingly called “The Trashcan” (long story…) or just “113” since that was our house number…It was so much fun and always sort of felt like a sleepover party!…We all got along so well and I loved how we got to share so much of our lives with each other…I definitely wouldn’t trade the time I got to live with them for anything! The late night spontaneous dance parties…the homework/study sessions…staying up late just hanging out..sharing meals together…the deep conversations about life…and just getting to be there for each other in general was so special and encouraging…

A few weeks ago when I was in Blacksburg, I got to hang out with these girls for a fun housemates photo shoot! I was so excited when they asked me to take them because they’re such a sweet group of girls and it’s awesome to see how they share the same kind of bond that I had with my roommates…I may have gotten a little nostalgic…

We had to shoot at 7 AM because I had engagement sessions in the afternoons both days I was there…but I’m so glad we did! I loved the glowy morning light and the fog made a pretty backdrop for some of their pictures! We had to hurry because some of the girls had class that morning…but I’m so thankful that I got to spend a little bit of time with them! Love you girls! I hope you enjoy my favorites!!

Aren’t they such cute roomies?!?

haha! Couldn’t resist making them do one of these serious pictures…

They weren’t able to keep a straight face for very long…

haha! so cute!

Their cute house numbers…

LOVED this adorable sign they ordered from Etsy!

Then we took pictures of each set of girls who share a room in their house!

so so pretty!

A favorite! I love the background!

Silly picture…

Their interpretation of the Bridesmaids movie poster…haha…

LOVE this…

heheh..love the one on the left…

Then we headed back to their house to quickly take a few more before they had to head to class!

I love all of their boots…

Cuties…

Happy Tuesday!!

Annamarie, your photos of the girls are so wonderful and you captured their peachy perfect personalities brillanlty. I am Kristina’s Aunt and I have been lucky enough to have her bring some of her roomies to visit me for the weekends. Those girls are just the greatest, most inspiring group of young women I have ever met. Thanks for doing this amazing photo shoot and putting it up to share with all of us on your blog. The best of luck to you always in your career and all parts of your life.
    Cheers,
    Crazy Aunt Deb
