Melanie and Colin | MARRIED!

This wedding is really special to Ryan and I because Colin and Melanie are some of our good friends from college…We went to high school with Colin and Ryan was his roommate all four years of college…It was so much fun getting to be a part of their wedding weekend along with a bunch of our college friends and it was a huge honor to get to photograph their big day!!

The whole weekend was so full of joy…I love hearing Melanie talk about Colin and I’ve loved seeing Colin and Melanie’s relationship grow over the past few years…I’m so excited for how the Lord is going to use them and their relationship to do awesome things! Melanie is one of the most caring and encouraging people I’ve ever met…She’s really easy to talk to and she is one of the funniest people I know…It is awesome to see how Colin and Melanie fit together. Colin cares for her so well and I know he is going to be a great leader for their family. It was so beautiful getting to watch them say their vows, and I loved getting to celebrate with so many of our friends at their reception! I hope you enjoy my favorites from their day!

This pretty pearl bracelet was Colin’s wedding present to Melanie..such a pretty gift!

Melanie, you’re engagement ring is so photogenic…nicely done Colin.

I love how the lace looks with the light shining through it…so beautiful…

Melanie’s mom and stepmom helped her get into her dress!

And then I went a little crazy with the bridal portraits…I couldn’t help it though because Melanie looked SO GOOD.

First look time! Here she comes!!!

ahhh I loved getting to witness this…

And I think that image on the far right was taken when Colin said something like, “I get to marry this girl??”

Portrait time!!

So cute Mel!!

Then he picked her up without me asking him to…way too cute.

Some definite favorites…

I loved Melanie’s bouquet…the broach on it was her grandmother’s!

Such a good looking bridal party…I might be biased because that’s my husband on the end;)

Just try and look at this picture without laughing…

I think this is what they did when I asked them to do their model faces…

Pretty girls!

I loved their j crew dresses!

A few more bridal portraits…I couldn’t resist!

Ceremony time!

They took communion…aaand they’re MARRIED!!!

Then we had time for a few more portraits…

These are my absolute favorites from the day…

Reception time!!

Their first dance was so amazing…

The toasts were really beautiful too…

Time to cut the cake!

I loved Melanie’s dance with her dad…

And then the dancing started!

bouquet toss!

haha I love Colin’s facial expressions…

I think this guy was a little too excited that he caught the garter…

More dancing…

And then it was time for the last dance!

And then they made their exit!!

Congrats you two!! We are so excited for the start of this new chapter in your lives!
