This past week I got to celebrate six years of dating Ryan…I hope we always celebrate our dating anniversary, because I never want to get to old or too comfortable to stop “dating” him…I feel like as we grow and change there are always going to be new things to learn about each other…We went on a Whole Foods date because I love that place and going there makes me feel classy somehow without actually eating at a fancy restaurant…We just talked and ate and enjoyed each others company. Ryan’s my best friend and in a lot of ways I can’t believe it’s ONLY been six years since he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes…It feels like we’ve known each other our whole lives and I can’t picture my life without him…

Almost 7 years ago Ryan was assigned to be my math tutor by my high school principal…and that’s how our friendship began. At least I have one reason to be thankful that I’m bad at math!! Later that year Ryan, Ryan’s best friend, and me and my best friend decided to dress up as the Scooby Doo gang for a halloween party…I was dressed up as Daphne and he was Fred…and it was that night that he asked me to be his girlfriend…and thankfully I said YES! I have a really awesome (and embarrassing) picture of us all dressed up for that party somewhere, but I can’t find it…maybe next year I’ll blog it…so instead, here’s a funny picture of us at our first high school dance together that I posted on instagram earlier this week…haha! Look at how awkwardly far apart we’re standing in the picture with our friends…

• We are having a family housewarming party this weekend since our new place is finally almost in order…so this week has been crazy with trying to finish last minute projects! And our downstairs bathroom had a leak…so Ryan had a really great time spending a whole evening fixing it…
• I ORDERED CHAIR 1 that I blogged about last week!! I am so excited to get it and replace our not so cute fern patterned chair! YAY!! and I’m almost ready to blog pictures of our new living room! I just have to sew some pillow covers…
• BONFIRES – we got a fire pit in our backyard and have been having the best time inviting friends over to sit by it and eat s’mores…it’s the PERFECT fall activity.
• I told myself that there was no way I was going to like Taylor Swifts new album after I was less than impressed with the first single “We are never ever getting back together…”…but I’M OBSESSED!! I literally can’t stop listening to the album…Ryan’s eventually going to have to ask me to stop repeating it over and over…
• Last Sunday’s wedding was BEAUTIFUL and was NOT ruined at all by Sandy..PRAISE THE LORD. I was so nervous about the weather that day…
