Laura and Max | Engaged!

When Laura first mentioned that she was thinking of including their horse, Devon, in their engagement shoot I was SO excited…I used to ride horses when I was little, and I’ve always been really comfortable around them…I knew taking some shots with Devon would make for some pretty and unique engagement pictures…I love how they turned out!

Laura is so creative and I loved the location she picked not only because we got to shoot with her horse, but also because it had so many fun spots for pictures! The swings, the pretty old, rustic buildings, and all the changing leaves provided gorgeous backdrops for their shoot…I was also a little too excited about the book letters that she brought…Max handmade them himself (!!) after seeing some expensive ones in a store…I was really impressed and will definitely be making some of my own (and when I say I’ll be making them, I really mean I’ll be asking Ryan to make me some…Ryan, if you’re reading this these might make a good Christmas present;)..*hint hint*)…But really I think they’re so cute and made the perfect props for their session!

Not only was the location amazing, but Laura and Max were also SO natural in front of the camera…I didn’t have to give them a whole lot of direction…They just interact so well with each other and are so sweet to each other! It was basically a photographer’s dream.

Laura and Max, I can’t wait for your wedding next year! I’m confident that it’s going to be beautiful and am already predicting that I’m going to have a blast shooting it.

I hope you enjoy my favorites!!
