Doug and Verlee | Engaged!

It was the last snowy day of the year (or at least hopefully! You never know what the weather in Virginia will do!) and we came this close to rescheduling their session for a different day when it would be a little warmer and less wet outside…but these two were coming from out of town and it would have been tricky to find a different date, not to mention the fact that Verlee had her makeup trial appointment here in the RVA right before our scheduled meeting time…

Can I just express how seriously ECSTATIC I am that we didn’t reschedule??? This one is going down in the books as an all time favorite engagement session of mine…not only is Verlee naturally stunning, but her makeup looked incredible and these two were pros at modeling from the very first shot I took…

I loved spending time with them and the VMFA here in Richmond was the most perfect location for their session…Doug is hilarious and Verlee is just the cutest girl ever, which made them so easy to photograph!

It’s kind of funny posting this session on the first gorgeous/hot day of spring, but I hope you enjoy one last taste of winter through their session! Enjoy my favorites!!

Love this first set inside the VMFA…Verlee you are so GORGEOUS!!

beautiful!

Love that one on the right!! Too cute!

Then we headed to the cafe for a few…the VMFA is a fun place to go with friends and enjoy a glass of wine..There’s a little terrace outside and the grounds are amazing!

I love the snow! I might be the only one but I’m a little sad that winter is over…

Doug, you are a lucky man!!

A definite favorite!!!

Actually THIS is my favorite…

love this!

Verlee and Doug, congratulations again!! I cant wait for your wedding!
