I love these two because they are so easy going…They live really close to the city and wanted to shoot with the Cherry Blossoms…unfortunately, because of the crazy weather we’ve had this spring, the blossoms didn’t actually bloom until a few days after their session…but we worked with the few trees we could find that were just beginning to open up! Lindsey and Tim are tying the knot in the Boston area where their family lives next year, but wanted their engagement session to commemorate this time in their life that they’re living in DC! That’s one of the things I love about pictures…being able to look back and remember certain times in my life…I still go back and look at Ryan and I’s engagement pictures, because it’s so fun to think about what life was like at that time and how much has changed since then!

The morning that we had scheduled their session also ended up being the Cherry Blossom 10K…instead of changing the date we decided to go with it, and they were so natural in front of the camera even though there were thousands of people running by and lots of others there watching the race! It was a challenge shooting around so many people, but we made it work…Even their puppy was a trooper and cooperated for a lot of pictures despite their being so many distractions around!

Lindsey and Tim, congratulations again! I hope you enjoy my favorites! We began just as the sun was coming up…
