Happy Monday blog readers!!…this past weekend started the “busy season” as a wedding photographer for me…That means I have weddings just about every weekend until July….I’m kind of overwhelmed since this is my first full wedding season (the very good kind of overwhelmed though! I’m so thankful!)…I’m a little tired after yesterday’s wedding, but it mostly just got me excited for all of the beautiful wedding days to come! I’m just so excited for each of these couples to  be making such a beautiful and lifelong commitment to each other over the next few months…It is such an honor to get to photograph such an important day in their lives and I cant wait!

To celebrate the start of my season, Ryan surprised me with a fancy dinner date on Saturday at Bookbinders here in Richmond!!…we dont eat at fancy places very often…if I’m being perfectly honest, our favorite restaurant to eat at is Plaza Azteca (cheap and delicious? Yes.)…but it’s always so fun to dress up and head into downtown Richmond together to celebrate something special…I had never been to this particular restaurant before so I didn’t know what to expect..but let me tell you…it was GOOD. The food was incredible and I loved the atmosphere…They have the cutest outdoor patio that made me feel like I was at a restaurant in Europe. Reason number 6483264738 why I love Richmond…We have so many amazing restaurants!

So then Sunday I headed to Tappahannock for Lauren and Luke’s wedding day…the property where they got married was GORGEOUS…a little rain couldn’t stop their wedding day from being amazing! I cant wait to share the images and more about their wedding day…but for now, here’s a little peek…
