As I drove to Gloucester County for Alexis and Chris’ big day, I didn’t really know what to expect! Normally I can spend some time before hand looking up the bride and groom’s venue online, but these two decided to have a backyard wedding! I actually looked up their house on google maps so that I would know I was in the right place when I saw it, but what I didn’t expect to see when I pulled up was the most GORGEOUS view of the water…seriously, it was so pretty…I had already been praying hard that the rain would hold off for their big day…but when I saw the view, I started praying even harder because I really REALLY wanted them to be able to have their ceremony outside with this gorgeous view as a backdrop! And you know what?? It didn’t rain at all! I think it was something like a 60 percent chance, but I think I only felt one rain drop the whole day. It was perfect.
Chris and Alexis are such a sweet couple and the way that they value their friends and family really shined throughout the day…Some of my favorite moments to capture were of Alexis and her sweet dad! You could just tell that this couple is well loved and everyone was just so excited to get to be a part of their special day!
Congratulations again you two!! I hope you enjoy my favorites!
First look!
I love shooting by the water! The overcast light was so airy and pretty…
So much joy!
Married!!!
Gorgeous bridesmaids dresses!
Alexis, you are GORGEOUS!
Alexis got her adorable reception dress from Lilly Pulitzer so we HAD to make time for a few more portraits after they changed…and the sun came out for a few moments so we were happy!
Congratulations again you two!!!
