Zach and Lindsay (and Lucy!)

It was a super (SUPER) windy day and as I started walking around Colonial Williamsburg with Zach and Lindsay and their adorable pup Lucy, I just kept praying that the rain would hold off!! We had been looking forward to their session for months and I would have been so sad if the forecasted thunderstorms ruined our fun…well it never really rained, but we did end up getting caught in the middle of a crazy WIND storm! We survived though and I think getting these pictures made it worth it :)

I was so excited to meet Lindsay and Zach, because 1. Lindsay is also a photographer in the area, and 2. She is super sweet and bubbly, and 3. She and Zach decided to bring their dog, Lucy, for their portraits! Lucy is a poodle mix and I feel like she is kind of like a big version of our puppy Lexie…except for that she was probably much more cooperative than Lexie would be for a portrait session…I loved hanging out with all three of them for the evening…we had so much fun and I hope that shows in their pictures!

Lindsay and Zach, I hope you enjoy my favorites!!

Love that one on the left..so cute :)

FAVORITE! Lindsay, you are beautiful!!

Cute little family :)

We took a couple of headshots while Zach made a quick outfit change…love how these turned out!!

Okay, that one on the right is another favorite…sooo pretty.

When Lindsay and I were emailing back and forth to make plans for their session she mentioned that she hoped the flowers would be in bloom for our session…so when we found this garden I was so excited! It was perfect!!

Then we found another little garden…and they had actually bought plants from it before…I have no green thumb whatsoever, but I was really tempted to buy a plant just because this place was so cute…

I LOVE the first black and white one in which they are standing in front of the circular steps, as well as the black and white one where they are sitting down that is next to the picture of lindsay popping her leg in front of the governors palace. these are so great!
