Ashleigh and Alex both graduated from Virginia Tech a few years ago…It’s the place where they met and fell in love, so it was only fitting for them to celebrate their wedding in Blacksburg surrounded by their families and all of their college friends! I loved hearing all of the stories about them during the toasts at their reception…about how when Alex first met Ashleigh he couldn’t stop talking about her (so sweet!)…and how they are such an inspiration as a couple to their friends!

I first met them for their engagement session several weeks ago and loved them right away…They are such a laid back and fun couple…Photography was really important to Ashleigh and it’s always such a huge honor when a bride trusts me with her images the way she did! They had an evening wedding so we opted to do a first look and I have to say that these are some of my new favorite portraits…We did most of their pictures on Tech’s gorgeous campus (I might be biased…)….and I love the variety of images that we got just by shooting around the drill field!
