Laura and Brian | Married

In most cases I get to meet my brides and grooms before their wedding day….I include an engagement session in all wedding packages because I think it’s usually really important for couple’s to get the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and with how I pose…but in Laura and Brian’s case our session got rained out multiple times and we ended up adding extra time to their wedding day instead of doing the engagement session…so I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but Laura and Brian were so natural in front of the camera and made my job so easy! Not only are they a gorgeous couple, but they were so cute and photogenic without even trying! Half of their portraits were taken when they were just being themselves and interacting with one another! I could’ve taken portraits of them all day…

Their wedding was held at the Riverside on the Potomac where all of their friends and family came together to support and celebrate their new marriage. The ceremony took place on the lawn in front of the garden, which was followed by a reception in the beautiful barn on the property. It was a very hot, but gorgeous day!

Laura and Brian, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your day! I am so honored to have been a part of it and I hope you enjoy my favorites! *A big thanks to Brittany for second shooting with me!

Laura’s students walked in while we were taking portraits and their reactions were priceless!

Gorgeous florals!

We didn’t really get a sunset because it started to get overcast and rainy during their reception…but the light after the rain was so soft and beautiful for this last set of portraits!

Gorgeous wedding! I really like the shot toward the end where the bride is standing sort of to the side & holding up her dress.
