When Allison suggested that we take their engagement pictures at her grandparents lake house that the two of them go to every summer to spend time with family and friends, I loved the idea right away! It’s always extra special when you get to shoot in a place that has meaning to a couple….I pulled up to the house on a Friday evening and Allison greeted me at the door and then introduced me to her fiance, Jack. They are the most adorable couple and I love the way they interacted with one another…I knew we were going to have a fun session despite how hot it was! The two of them are so sweet and I had the best time getting to know them a little as we walked around the lake! It was a very hazy overcast evening and I think it worked in our favor…it paired perfectly with the location and their look! I love their nautical/classic vibe that I get from them as a couple!
