Venice. Ahh Venice. I truly believe that it’s one of the most enchanting cities in the world. It has this air of magic to it…you can sense it as you walk along the water through the winding streets with the old, charming buildings staring down at you. If only buildings could talk…because surely they are holding on to thousands of stories of people who’ve walked by them before you. Europe is so rich in history and I think that only adds to the romance of it. As Amy and Jordan held hands and leaned against an old bridge with the light enveloping them, the pastel colors surrounding them and their love for each other literally took my breath away even with dozens of people rushing around us. Time stood still for a moment and I was wishing I could freeze it there for just a while longer..
Jordan and Amy are one of those couples that light up any room they walk into…they have this special way of bringing out the best and most beautiful parts of not only each other, but everyone they come in contact with. You can’t help but have a good time when you’re around them…We’re so thankful that these two have become friends that we hold dear to our hearts…Jordan is one of the funniest people we know and I’m not sure there’s a sweeter or more beautiful person out there than Amy! Together they’re what I like to call a power couple and I have no doubt that they’re going to change the world together for the better.
When we realized our trips to Europe were overlapping we knew we had to make something spectacular happen! And this one turned out to be an Anniversary Celebration Session for the books…My goal is always to capture so much more than just a pretty portrait…I make it my mission to capture the love that a couple shares. These two share a really special kind of love and I want these photos that were taken for their 5 year Anniversary to remind 80 year old Amy and Jordan of what it felt like to be young and head over heels in love with each other as they explored Venice during that trip they took in their 20’s…and I hope these photos will remind Jordan to tell his bride in 50 years that he didn’t know it was possible, but somehow he loves her infinitely more than he did on that magical trip to Europe…
