Amy and Jordan

It’s hard to put into words what this couple means to me! Somewhere along the way between that time we explored Venice together, the late night phone calls, countless encouraging texts, lots of silly voice messages, and the good times we’ve spent together here in Virginia and where they live in Arizona, these two became like family to me. The kind of family that lives far away and yet somehow never misses a beat. They have this way of making you feel like you’re always enough exactly as you are while simultaneously making you want to be the very best you can be. If you’ve ever been lucky enough to spend time with them, I bet you know exactly what I mean. It’s a true gift that they have. And I’m not sure if they’ll ever know the full extent of the difference they’ve made or the lives they’ve changed.

But even more than the way they love others, my favorite thing about them is the way that they love each other. I’ve seen them in some mountain top moments and in some low, stressful moments…and the beautiful thing is that in all of these situations the one thing that never sways is the way they care for each other. I love how they speak so highly of each other. I love how they are always putting each other first. When one of them is weak, the other is strong. Their relationship is a true testament to the love and grace of the Lord and because of that their marriage is a blessing to so many people. It is such an honor to have been able to capture these photos for their 6th Wedding Anniversary while we were spending time in Charleston together a few weeks ago! Jordan and Amy, thank you for being incredible friends and for always insisting we communicate in the Lexie voice. I love you both. So so much!

Enjoy my favorites from our shoot in historic Charleston! How is this place even real?
