Downtown Lexington Session | Tyler and Ashley

Tyler and Ashley moved to Richmond shortly after getting married last year, but it somehow feels like they’ve been here much longer…We met at a photography get together and when I realized they had just started coming to our church, I asked them to join our small group! It’s been so much fun getting to be a part of their life this past year and seeing them grow together and in life. They are so much fun to be around and I’m so thankful for them and that they are a part of our lives! They’re also a very talented videography husband and wife team here in Richmond and I love the times when I get to work with them. It’s so important to have friends who understand what it’s like to run a small business…I love that we get to cheer each other on and push each other to grow! I couldn’t be more thankful for their silliness, their caring hearts, and I really admire the way that they are so dedicated to everything they do. They are truly best friends and it was so fun to get to capture them in this season of their lives! Marriage is such an incredible journey and I love getting to celebrate it with the couples I photograph…

We headed to Lexington where Ash grew up and where they got married for their session and I love this cute little downtown area so much! We ended the shoot back at Big Spring Farm where they pulled out some of their journals that they had passed back in forth while they were dating…these two prove that love really can go the distance! They dated long distance for 11 months while Ashley was traveling the world with a missions organization and it’s so inspiring to see how this just made their love grow even stronger! I’m so excited to get to be a part of their lives and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

Ty and Ash we are so thankful for you! I hope you enjoy my favorites from our evening together!!
